Lucy took me to Maastricht in Holland for my 36th Birthday and the place is stunning. The fantastic city centre has many great shops from bakeries to cheese to fashion. For us, top of the list was the Dutch sweet shops! They do them well. And they do liquorice even better!

Also, if you ever spend £50 on cheese in Holland, don't go to Lidl the next week to find the exact same cheese on offer for £9.... It's bittersweet.
